Praise for underground life. When youth rebellion becomes a source of inspiration for fashion.

(London, 8 June 2019) For ICEBERG, the Spring/Summer 2020 season has the scent of a peaceful rebellion, where youth cultures meet and unite in a mix of bright colors and monochromatic shades. A story in which - according to the imagination by James Long – the punks of King's Road join the Sloane and Hooray of Knightsbridge (spiritual home of the first ICEBERG store in London), but also the Dark of South Kensington.

The first releases are dedicated to the ICEBERG x Peter Blake collaboration, the brand's "Art Denim" capsule, whose unmistakable riot of pop-art graphics spills over into total looks made up of shirts and trousers, but also onto mini dresses and simple knitwear . His symbolic works Babe Rainbow and Amerika land on garments and accessories (for example on a technically complex pullover that mixes birdseye inlays, jacquard work and embroidery), together with hearts, rainbows and Mod-style targets, finding a perfect match in the ICEBERG x Linda Farrow see-now-buy-now sunglasses line.

The bold rocker-style jacket with zips on the sleeves and matching bondage trousers unzip, revealing a pink so light it's almost white. For those who prefer Bauhaus or the persuasive voice of Iggy singing "I love your hair", there are sartorial proposals in a tone-on-tone sporty key, with shirts in matching colours. Or the black-on-black tracksuits, to which is added a chic and gender fluid reinterpretation of the mesh fabric in the form of tank tops and maxi skirts. The belts, the sneakers with Vibram soles, the trouser legs, the collars and the ears are embellished with a shower of skater chains, in pure "Le Goth Sportif" style.

The extreme brilliance of the "tonic suits" brought to the fore by the Mods is reflected in the jackets with silver zips, Bermuda shorts and trousers with elastic cords. A characteristic also taken up for a T-shirt, tied tightly with the same method. As for the women's collection, colorful punk-inspired orchids invade proposals with tailored lines, where the primary colors in a fluorescent version stand out boldly against the white background. With a simple shirt and a coordinated tie, the Mod-style feminine look immediately takes on a modern character.

The women's collection offers color block outfits with fluid and oversized lines, made of satin, chiffon and crepe, while the men's collection includes cupro joggers with a washed effect and a matching bomber jacket in delicate turquoise. The all-over Looney Tunes Drip print covers the entire surface of easy-fit shirts, shorts and sweatshirts. The bulky ICEBERG lettering in pink and silver or teal and mustard provides just the right disguise for urban warriors seeking their Promised Land.
